Insprations for our location
Shaun of the deadWe liked the location used for Shaun of the dead as it was a pub which turned in to a refuge for the cast in the film. We took inspiration for the Penarth centre as it derelict local that could used as a place to hide when running from zombies.

district 9District 9 has a refugee camp we wanted to have a similar theme with the Penarth centre with a camp full of zombies. We took inspiration and tried to make the shots have a refugee feel similar to district 9.
Dawn of the DeadAs a group we liked the use of the abandoned shopping centre to survive the zombie invasion. We took inspiration from this with our trailer and tried to make the location feel like a placed that was a refugee camp/ centre that had been abandoned due to the zombie invasion but is a place of refuge for our stock characters as its a large building with a lot of hiding places

World wAR zI like the shot of mass zombies climbing the wall, I believe the Penarth centre will be perfect for this as we could use some rooms for a mass zombie shot, such as unit 28 and the atrium and the outside hall way as those area can be used as mass shots for zombies.
28 weeks laterWe like the use of isle of dogs in London and how the director has created an abandon feel in a populated area full of offices. We have like the Penarth centre as its a derelict building in London which is similar to the isle of dogs in the film as it has abandoned buildings. For example the shot of the main character in a dark room will be perfect for the Penarth center as their are many places which are poorly lit.
